Pia - Founder & writer
Honestly, I hate writing About pages about myself. How do you come across as an intriguing, genuine human being who can add value to others? Pro copywriter tip: That’s what an About page is really about - adding value to your reader.
There, you learned something. Does that count? ;-)
I’ll stick to the basics. I’m a self-employed copywriter, translator and VA who has made the world her home since October 2017. I’ve lived in Bali, Thailand, Wales, South Africa, Spain, Italy, Croatia and Hungary since then, with no plans of settling down anytime soon.
They say traveling opens your heart and broadens your mind, and that has definitely been true for me. The more I travel, the more I appreciate this diverse and wondrous world we live in - and the more I understand that every single one of us has the power to change the world for better or worse. As a full-time and passionate digital nomad I want to contribute my share in the better, both for myself, the people around me, and the planet that is our home.
That’s not always easy for full-time travelers. But it’s possible. I plan to test it out as I keep traveling and I’ll be sharing my insights right here. I’m hoping to raise awareness in all types of travelers, and make it easier for all of us to become and remain mindful of ourselves and our surroundings even when embarking on our next grand adventures.
Keep striving for your untroubled spirit and tread lightly upon this Earth. See you on the blog!
Pssst, romance readers!
I published a digital nomad romance novella for Kindle.
Here’s the blurb for Branded By You:
Digital nomads: They work remotely and travel the world. Sometimes, they even fall in love…
Georgia “Gigi” Rand has worked hard to become the beautiful, confident social media expert she is. When she gets the chance to speak at a conference for digital nomads in Florence, she grabs it with both hands – until she learns she’ll have to hold her presentation with the man who not only broke her heart in high school, but ripped it out and stomped on it for good measure.
At first, heartthrob and branding consultant Nate West is intrigued by the woman he gets partnered up with for the conference talk. That is, until he remembers her and what happened between them fifteen years ago. He vows to make it up to her and give her the apology she deserves – but will she forgive him in time for the two of them to deliver a presentation that will knock the socks off the digital nomad community and future potential customers?
This is the first novella (30,000 words) in the Wireless Love Stories series about digital nomads falling in (and sometimes out of) love - written by a digital nomad.
